I seriously almost perished. In Fits. I have had 4, yep FOUR, ER visits in the past two months. I'll spare you the details. I've been poked, prodded, scanned and violated to an inch of my life. It took a very astute ER doc to intelligently say "Why yes...you certainly, most probably do, have endometriosis BUT often with stabbing, recurrent, abdominal pain and elevated blood pressure and wildly erratic heart beats (valve issue aside)...it's often just the bodies response to...stress."
Well smarty pants doctor...perhaps you have a point there. The past three years have not been easy (not hard by global standards either let me clarify). Just personally very difficult, lots of losses, lots of SERIOUSLY crappy people entering and thankfully leaving the scene, bad, (ok, night-marish) string of employment..lots of stuff.
I'm the kind of person that likes the world to be an orderly place. While in Canada over Labour Day weekend, I LOVED the practice of using signage to note that an "ARTIST" worked here or there or some site of cultural importance was right HERE (arrow pointing to the correct location). I think people should also be signed that way. My life would be easier for sure. "Self centered Asshole Who Will Never Change", "Worst Boss EVER", "Crazy-Maker", "Addict", "Back-Stabber", "Scam Artist", "True Friend"..."True Love" would all be clearly labelled and either avoided at all cost or embraced and held on to for dear life.
My sign would be a LONG one to be sure: "Cranky girl who wears her broken heart on her sleeve and wants to see the good in everyone no matter what, fights for those who can't and spends too much money on yarn, ER visits and cats."
Knitting, studio shots and a big Flickr update in less than 24 hours. PROMISE.
I've been waiting and waiting for an update 'cause I've missed you! Perhaps I can teach you to cultivate my own particular brand of obliviousness...if you can't see it, you can't stress over it ;)

Hi, I just stumbled upon your blog--over from Celine's blog...gosh, it sounds like you've been through the wringer! I just started reading a book called Safe People, by Cloud and Townsend...don't know if you like to read but it helps identify safe/unsafe people etc... Just thought I'd pass that along!
